WayWyser: connecting fieldwork and trail management

The operational problem

WayWyser provides tools to capture field information with its location and connect that record to management activity.

From geopark monitoring to a management platform

WayWyser’s published story describes its origins in the Geopark LIFE project, with an early version piloted in the Burren, Co. Clare. The product grew around the practical needs of people monitoring and managing outdoor places.

Its current scope includes trails, forests and parklands, agricultural land, biodiversity, heritage sites and waterways. Each use case benefits from connecting what is observed on site with the people managing the response.
